PA Giving Pledge Aims to Inspire Donors Across Pennsylvania to Leave Bequests to Support Local Nonprofits

The Clinton County Community Foundation is a proud member of the Pennsylvania
Community Foundation Association (PACFA), which has launched the PA Giving
Pledge, a statewide campaign to inspire Pennsylvanians to leave at least 5% of their
estates to help future generations.
The PA Giving Pledge aims to scale Pennsylvania-focused giving with emphasis on
generating sustainable financial resources for worthy causes and nonprofits working to
address a range of issues in local communities across the state.
Support your local community foundation by visiting www.clintoncountyfoundation.org
today.
The statewide effort aims to leverage a portion of the estimated $418 billion transfer of
wealth projected in the state by 2030, according to estimates by the Center for Rural
Pennsylvania.
PACFA, a member organization that includes the CCCF and 40 other Pennsylvania
Community Foundations, is encouraging potential donors to pledge their
local community foundation or other community-based nonprofit organizations.
Community foundations are grantmaking public charities that focus on defined
geographic areas, allowing donors to create philanthropic legacies to benefit virtually
any charitable cause through their local community foundation.
With the launch of the PA Giving Pledge, donors and professional advisors can now
access an interactive website PAGivingPledge.org to find their nearest community
foundation and to access county-by-county data highlighting the total estimated wealth
transfer by 2030.
