Dogwood Circle Garden Club Recieves Grant from the Community Foundation!

Dogwood Circle Garden Club’s work to beautify the community is supported by a Clinton County Community Foundation grant.
The club this week did a general clean-up at the garden at Triangle Park and at the large World War I monument at the 5-way intersection just down the street in Lock Haven.
This year’s grant funding is paying for replacing the roses at the Monument with native shrubs and adding more perennials at the Triangle.
Here, Garden Club Member Judith Walker takes a moment amid working at the Monument.
The club has a number of members. Other volunteers who started early at Thursday’s cleanup included Deborah Spangler, Susan Bowland, Shonah Hunter, and Barbara Pribble.
