Clinton County Community Foundation Announces Committed and Restricted Gifts Totaling $232,603 for 2025
Thanks to the graciousness of people and organizations that seek to leave a legacy of giving to strengthen Clinton County, the Clinton County Community Foundation announces the distribution of donor-directed gifts totaling over $182,572 to organizations for 2025.
While these gifts are within the $559,000 disbursement recently announced by the Foundation, they are designated to specific organizations by donors and are separate from grants nonprofits receive as part of the Foundation’s annual competitive grant program, explained Robert O. “Bob” Rolley Jr., Foundation outreach coordinator.
Also included in the $559,000 are more than $50,000 in scholarship funds.
“We are grateful for bequests to the Clinton County Community Foundation, and we take great care in working to ensure these endowments become ‘forever gifts’ honoring loved ones while also providing needed funds to our nonprofits, emergency first responders and other institutions,” said Mark A. Weaver, Foundation board president.
Proceeds from endowments gifted to the Foundation are distributed annually to designated recipients, as directed by donors.
More information on how to establish a “forever” or legacy gift can be found online at www.clintoncountyfoundation.org, or by calling the Foundation at 570.220.1038.
